Answer the price question before they call
Most turf enquiries are about price and timing. Turf Arena shows the hourly rate for each sport by time band, with weekday and weekend columns, so players know the cost before they ask. Rentals, packages and coaching sit below in tabbed lists.
- Time-of-day price table
- Box cricket, 5-a-side and full-turf 7-a-side
- Equipment rental and party packages
- Booking, advance and cancellation notes
Slot requests, confirmed by you
The booking form asks for the sport and slot length, the date and a start time, plus notes such as the number of players. The request is emailed to you; you check your register and confirm by phone or WhatsApp before taking an advance. There is no live calendar, so nothing gets double-booked behind your back.
- Sport and slot length choice
- Hourly start times from 6 am
- Spam trap and input checks
- Requests emailed and kept in the admin's Enquiries inbox
Facilities and tournaments that bring teams back
A facilities page lists what players get on arrival and the turf rules, with a photo gallery. The tournaments page shows sample leagues and cups with format, entry fee and how to register, which you edit before each event.
- Nine facility cards
- Turf rules list
- Three tournament cards
- Steps to register a team
Who it suits
Turf Arena is written for the owner or manager of an artificial-grass ground: a netted box cricket box, a 5-a-side football pitch, or a full turf that splits into two halves. It also fits a school or society ground that rents its field in the evenings. The copy speaks to regular office teams, college friends, parents booking a birthday game and companies planning a team evening.
- Box cricket and football turfs
- Multi-sport grounds rented by the hour
- Turfs that run leagues and coaching
- Society and school grounds rented after hours
What players find on each page
The home page opens with Book a slot and See slot prices, four cards on box cricket, football 5s and 7s, hourly booking and changing rooms, then a section each for cricket and football, opening hours, directions and a tournaments teaser. Slot prices is a table of five time bands, from early morning to late night, with weekday and weekend columns for each sport, followed by rentals, packages and coaching in tabs and three notes on arriving on time, holding a slot with an advance and moving a booking. Facilities, Tournaments, Book a slot and Contact (with a map) complete the site.
- Slot table: early morning, day, evening, prime time, late night
- Rentals: cricket kit, football, bibs, turf shoes
- Packages: weekly slot, birthday party, corporate evening
- Kids football coaching and nets practice
Bookings and tournament entries in the admin
The booking form also takes tournament team entries, birthday party and corporate evening requests, so every enquiry reaches the same place. Each one is emailed to you and saved in the admin's Enquiries inbox with the sport, slot length, date, start time and notes, and the list downloads as a CSV for your own register. In the admin you set the turf's phone, WhatsApp, address, map, opening hours and colours once for every page, add the floating WhatsApp button with a ready 'book a turf slot' message, and use the announcement bar to say when a league is open for entries or the turf is closed for maintenance.
- Enquiries inbox with CSV download
- WhatsApp button and click-to-call
- Announcement bar for leagues and closures
- Analytics and Meta Pixel switched on from the admin
Setup, hosting and what it does not do
The zip has the HTML pages, stylesheet, script, photos, the PHP form handler with config.php, the admin panel and an .htaccess file, plus an installation guide and README. Upload it to any cPanel or shared hosting with PHP 7.4 or later, set your email in config.php, create your admin login and paste the licence key. There is no slot calendar, no automatic blocking of booked hours, no membership wallet and no online payment: the pages say an advance by UPI holds a slot, and you collect it yourself after confirming. Tournament fixtures and results are not managed by the site either; you share them on WhatsApp.
- SportsActivityLocation schema markup
- Prices and tournaments edited in plain HTML
- No database to set up: SQLite is built in
- Live availability would be custom work
