A website for your neighbourhood pharmacy
Most customers want three things from a chemist's website: can I send my prescription, will you deliver, and when are you open. CareWell answers all three on the home page, with services, opening hours, a map and a simple explanation of how ordering works in three steps: send your prescription, the pharmacy calls to confirm, then collect it or have it delivered. The services page has six short cards for prescription orders, home delivery, free blood pressure and blood sugar checks, baby and mother care, wellness and daily care, and refill reminders, followed by a notice that prescription medicines are supplied only against a valid prescription by a registered pharmacist. The about page tells the story of your store, and the contact page has your address, a map and a general message form. The delivery radius, payment methods and call-back time in the demo are sample copy: change them to what your pharmacy really offers.

Prescription upload that respects privacy
The upload page takes a photo or PDF of the prescription, the customer's name, phone, delivery choice and address, and an optional note. The file is attached to an email to your pharmacist and is never saved on the web server. Only JPG, PNG, WEBP and PDF files up to 5 MB are accepted, and the type is checked from the file itself, not its name. A Before you send box reminds customers to make the doctor's name, date and medicines readable, offers WhatsApp as an alternative and tells them to call the emergency number in an emergency. Because the prescription travels only by email, check that the email settings work before you go live: if the email cannot be sent, the customer is asked to call you instead.

Built for how pharmacies really work
CareWell does not sell medicines online or take payments. Every request is a message to your pharmacist, who calls the customer to confirm availability, price and dosage before preparing the order. The site states clearly that prescription medicines need a valid prescription. Check the rules that apply to your pharmacy before you go live.

The admin panel behind the counter
Your admin panel lives at your-domain.com/admin/. Each prescription request appears in the Enquiries inbox with the patient's name, phone, delivery choice and address, and a note that the file went by email, so the counter staff can see who is waiting for a call back even before opening the mailbox. Contact form messages land in the same inbox, and the list downloads as a CSV. In the business details you set the pharmacy name, logo, phone, WhatsApp number, address, map and opening hours, which then appear on every page. You can edit the WhatsApp message customers start with, add live chat, show an announcement bar for a holiday closing time, turn on a cookie notice and analytics, and route email through your own SMTP server. Services text and page copy are edited in the HTML files.

What is in the zip and how to install it
You get five HTML pages plus a 404 page, the stylesheet and scripts, the PHP form handler, the admin panel, photos and an .htaccess file, with an illustrated installation guide. Upload it to any cPanel or shared hosting with PHP 7.4 or later, set the pharmacist's email address in config.php, create your admin login and paste your licence key on the Dashboard so the forms switch on. One key activates up to three domains. The inbox uses SQLite, created automatically when PHP's pdo_sqlite extension is on (the default on most hosts), or MySQL if you prefer. Email is sent by PHP mail() or SMTP.

Limits to know about
CareWell is not an online medicine shop. There is no product catalogue, stock list, cart, online payment or delivery tracking, and it does not check or validate prescriptions. Your pharmacist reviews each one, confirms price and availability by phone and takes payment at the counter or on delivery. Rules on advertising and supplying medicines differ by country and state, so check what applies to you before going live.
