Answers homeowners look for

People thinking about rooftop solar want to know which system suits them, roughly what it costs and how subsidies work. Suryadeep puts system types, a cost-per-kW table, scheme information and your process on their own pages, with a Book a site survey button on every screen.

  • On-grid, hybrid and off-grid compared
  • Indicative cost-per-kW table
  • Subsidy section without invented amounts
  • Four-step process from survey to handover

Turn visitors into site surveys

The survey form asks what the customer is looking for, the site address, a date and a time slot, plus notes about monthly bills, roof type and shade-free area. The request arrives in your inbox and you confirm by phone or WhatsApp.

  • Site survey form with address
  • System types grouped for homes and businesses
  • Notes for bills, roof and sanctioned load
  • Spam trap and input checks

Written to stay on the right side of claims

Solar output depends on sunlight, shade and weather, and scheme rules change. The template says so plainly: prices are marked indicative, the subsidy section tells visitors to check the current PM Surya Ghar rules, and a notice explains that savings are estimates, not guarantees.

  • Prices marked as indicative
  • No subsidy amounts stated as fact
  • No fixed-savings or zero-bill promises
  • Sample reviews clearly marked to replace

Who it is for

Suryadeep fits a local rooftop solar installer, a small EPC firm or an electrical contractor that has added solar, serving homes and shops in one city or district. It is written for businesses that win work through a site visit and a written quote, and that help customers with net-meter and scheme paperwork rather than selling panels off the shelf.

  • Rooftop solar installers
  • Solar EPC companies for homes and small businesses
  • Electrical contractors offering solar
  • Solar service and cleaning teams

What each page does

The home page explains the offer with three quick facts (free survey, system sizes, paperwork help), four promises from survey to after-sales care, a 'start with a survey' block, three system cards with 'from' prices per kW, a sample testimonials block and a survey call-out. The systems page compares on-grid, hybrid and off-grid in three cards listing what each includes and who it suits, then has separate blocks for homes and for shops and businesses, followed by the generation notice. The cost page holds the indicative cost-per-kW table by system type with typical sizes and backup, a line on what costs extra, and the scheme section that points to the official PM Surya Ghar portal and the local DISCOM. The how-we-work page covers the four steps, what happens on installation day (earthing, lightning arrester, DC and AC protection boxes), warranties as given by the makers and service visits, with a photo gallery. The survey page holds the form and a before-the-visit checklist, and contact has a map and a message form.

  • Home, Systems, Cost & subsidy, How we work, Site survey, Contact and 404
  • Cost table you edit in plain HTML
  • Generation-varies notice on systems and cost pages
  • WhatsApp and click-to-call on every page

Survey requests and the admin panel

The survey form takes a name, phone, optional email, what the customer is looking for (on-grid, hybrid or off-grid for a home, a shop or office rooftop, advice, or service of an existing system), the site address, a survey date, a two-hour time slot and notes on bills, roof type, shade-free area and sanctioned load. It states that the survey is free, with no obligation, and that no payment is taken online. Each request is emailed to you and kept in the Enquiries inbox at /admin/, where your team can work through the list and download it as CSV. In the admin you set the company name, logo, phone, WhatsApp, address, map, office hours, social links and colours once for every page, and can add an announcement bar, live chat, Google Analytics, Tag Manager or the Meta Pixel, a cookie notice and maintenance mode.

  • Survey requests by email and in the admin
  • Site address and roof notes in one message
  • CSV download for follow-up calls
  • Spam trap on every form

What is in the zip and setup

The zip contains seven HTML pages, the stylesheet and JavaScript, the PHP form handler and admin panel, photos, an .htaccess file, a README and an installation guide. Upload to public_html, set your email in config.php, create your admin login, paste the licence key and send a test survey request. It runs on any cPanel or shared hosting with PHP 7.4 or later, with no WordPress or database server. The README tells you where the system cards and cost table live and reminds you to mention only schemes you are registered for.

  • All prices are sample figures to replace
  • Built-in SQLite, nothing to install
  • Optional setup on your hosting

What it does not do

Suryadeep has no savings calculator, no subsidy application, no cart and no online payment. It does not track installation jobs, service contracts or warranties. Quotes, contracts and payments stay with you, and every figure on the site is a sample until you replace it.

  • No savings or ROI calculator
  • No online payment
  • No project or service tracking
