What is the difference between the three packages?

Code only is the website download: you upload it to your hosting yourself using the included guide. We set it up adds our installation on your own cPanel or hosting, with your domain, SSL, business details and order emails and the video call booking form working. Customised adds your logo, brand colours, up to 30 of your sarees with photos and prices, your weavers' story and returns rules, up to three extra pages, two rounds of changes and three months of support after launch.

What happens after I order We set it up or Customised?

We email you within one business day to ask for your cPanel (or hosting) login and your domain details, and for Customised, your logo, content and photos. Setup is usually done within 2 business days of getting access; customised sites usually launch within 5 to 7 business days of receiving your content.

Question 3

Do I need to buy hosting or a domain from you?

Accepted Answer

No. The website goes on your own hosting and domain, which stay in your name. Any cPanel or shared hosting plan with PHP works. If you do not have hosting yet, buy a basic plan from any provider before ordering setup.

Question 4

Can I say a saree is GI-tagged or has the Handloom Mark?

Accepted Answer

Only if that exact piece carries the certificate or label. The demo deliberately describes weaves ("in the Chanderi weave", "Banarasi-style") without certification claims, and the README explains how to add them honestly.

Question 5

How do video calls work?

Accepted Answer

Customers book a date and time on the video call page and the request is emailed to you. You then call them on WhatsApp video from the shop. The website does not host the call itself.

Question 6

Can customers ask for fall and pico or blouse stitching?

Accepted Answer

Yes, in the order note at checkout. You confirm the work and any extra charge when you call. There is no separate tailoring checkout.

Question 7

I have only one piece of most sarees. Can it be sold twice?

Accepted Answer

Set the stock to 1 in Admin → Shop → Products. Once it is ordered, the stock reaches zero and the saree cannot be ordered again. If the order is cancelled, the stock is put back.

Question 8

Can customers pay by card online?

Accepted Answer

Not with the base template. It includes cash on delivery (with an optional extra fee and maximum order value), bank transfer, UPI and pay on pickup. For UPI the checkout shows a QR code for the exact order total, made from your UPI ID; you check the payment and mark the order paid. Card and online payments come from separate add-ons, each sold separately with its own licence: Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal and Cashfree. They plug in without code changes. They have been tested against mocked gateway responses only, not with real payments.

How do I add or change sarees?

In Admin → Shop → Products. You add, edit or delete sarees, upload a photo and a gallery, set a sale price (shown with the regular price crossed out), add variants such as size, colour or pack with their own price, SKU and stock, and give each product its own SEO title and description. Categories and sub-categories are managed the same way. The demo products are loaded on first run, so edit or delete them.

Where do I see my orders?

In Admin → Shop → Orders, and every new order is also emailed to you and the customer. Each order moves from pending to paid, processing, shipped and delivered, or to cancelled or refunded. You can add private notes and a tracking number and link, the customer gets a status email, the invoice prints from the order and orders export to CSV. Cancelling puts the stock back. Refunds are made in your payment gateway's dashboard or by you directly; then set the order to Refunded.

What if my hosting has no database extension?

The shop needs PHP's pdo_sqlite (on by default on most hosts) or a MySQL database. Without either, it falls back to the demo product file and emailed orders, so customers can still order from the demo products and you receive each order by email. Online checkout switches on once your licence is active; on your own computer it is always on for testing.

Is there an admin panel?

Yes. Open your-domain.com/admin/ and create your login the first time. From there you change your business name, logo, phone, WhatsApp, email, address, map, opening hours, social links and colours (they replace the demo details on every page), add live chat (Tawk.to, Crisp or Tidio), Google Analytics, Tag Manager or the Meta Pixel, show an announcement bar or cookie notice, set SEO defaults, switch on maintenance mode, set up SMTP email and read every form message in the Enquiries inbox. Page text and photos are still edited in the HTML files.

Can visitors see prices in their own currency?

Accepted Answer

Yes. In the admin you choose the currency your prices are written in and switch on more currencies with your own exchange rates. Visitors get a currency switcher in the top bar, their choice is remembered, and every price on the site is shown in it. Rates do not update by themselves: you enter them, or add an automatic-rates add-on.

Do I need to set up a database?

No. The site uses SQLite, a database stored in a single private file that is created automatically the first time you open the admin. It needs PHP's pdo_sqlite extension, which is on by default on most hosts. If you prefer MySQL, create a database in cPanel and put its name, user and password in config.php.

How is the website activated?

Accepted Answer

Every purchase comes with a licence key, sent in your order email and shown in your coodecraft.com account. Paste it on the admin Dashboard (or into config.php): the site checks the key with coodecraft.com and the forms switch on. One key activates up to three domains (for example a test domain and your live domain), and you can move it between domains from your account. We do the activation for you with We set it up or Customised.

Question 16

Can I change the colours, fonts and photos?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your main colours can be changed in the admin panel; colours and fonts are also set in one block at the top of the stylesheet, photos are replaced by file name, and every page is plain HTML that any text editor can open. The demo photos may be used on your site.

Question 17

Can I use it for more than one saree shop?

Accepted Answer

Each purchase covers one saree shop website. For a second business or a client project, buy another copy. Reselling or redistributing the template itself is not allowed.
