What families need to know before they call
A son or daughter arranging care for a parent wants to know what you do, what it costs, who will come and how quickly care can start. Sahara answers each on its own page, with a Request a home visit button and a WhatsApp chat on every screen.
- Services with what each includes
- Indicative monthly and per-visit charges
- Steps from the first call to the first shift
- Answers to common questions
An enquiry form built for home visits
The enquiry form asks for the type of care, the address where care is needed, and a preferred date and time for the assessment visit, with notes about the person who needs care. Everything is emailed to you and kept in the admin's Enquiries inbox, so your care desk can call back. A side panel tells the family what to have ready for the visit: a family member present, recent prescriptions and discharge papers, and notes on stairs, bathrooms and mobility aids.
- Type of care choice
- Care address with landmark
- Preferred assessment date and time
- Spam trap and input checks
Honest wording for a care service
The demo has no testimonials and promises no health outcomes. It explains that caregivers follow the patient's own doctor and do not prescribe, that home care is not an emergency service, and what is outside a caregiver's role. The README asks you to keep only the claims that are true for your service.
- No testimonials or outcome claims
- Not-medical-advice notice
- Emergency notice with 112 and 108
- A clear 'what we do not do' section
Every page and what it does
The home page introduces nursing attendants, nurse visits, physio at home and post-hospital care, then shows the four steps from the first call to the first shift, with care desk hours, areas you cover and an emergency box. The services page explains each service, the small daily things caregivers help with, and what they do not do: no prescribing, no household chores and no emergency response. The care plans page shows day attendant, 24-hour live-in and post-hospital plans, a per-visit list for nurse visits, wound dressing and physiotherapy, and a plain note on billing: free assessment before any quote, a written care plan, monthly plans billed in advance and seven days' notice to change or stop. The how-it-works page covers assessment, care plan, caregiver match and weekly supervision, and answers six family questions, including dementia care and working with the family doctor. Every charge in the demo is a sample.
- Home, services, care plans, how it works, enquiry and contact pages
- Day, live-in and post-hospital plan cards
- Per-visit price list for nurse and physio visits
- Six common family questions answered
Your admin panel, for the care desk
Assessment requests arrive in the Enquiries inbox at /admin/ with the type of care, the care address and the preferred visit slot, and contact messages sit in the same list, so whoever is on the care desk can see who still needs a call. Download the list as a CSV to plan assessment visits. In the admin you set the agency name, logo, care desk phone, WhatsApp number and its opening message, email, office address, map, hours and social links. You can add a live chat for families abroad, a currency switcher for relatives paying from another country, Google Analytics, a cookie notice and an announcement bar. Care plan details and charges are edited in the HTML pages.
- Assessment requests and messages in one inbox
- CSV download for planning visits
- Currency switcher for relatives abroad
- Login with lock-out after failed attempts
Setup, hosting and limits
The zip holds the pages, stylesheet, scripts, photos, PHP form handler, admin and an illustrated installation guide. Upload it to cPanel, create your login at /admin/ and paste your licence key to switch the forms on; one key covers up to three domains. It needs PHP 7.4 or later, creates its own SQLite database (MySQL is optional) and sends mail by PHP mail() or SMTP. It is a public website, not care-management software: no online payments, rosters, attendance, care notes or family logins.
- Plain HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP
- No WordPress or monthly software fee
- No payments, rosters or patient records
- Spam trap and a limit on repeat messages
