Answer the price question honestly
Clients always ask how much. The pricing page explains why you charge by time, then lists the minimum charge, hourly rate range, half-day and full-day sessions, cover-ups, touch-ups and the booking deposit, so people arrive with realistic expectations.
- Minimum charge and hourly range
- Half-day and full-day sessions
- Deposit and rescheduling rules
- What every price includes
Show the artists, not just the work
Artist cards show each resident artist's styles and experience, with short bios and rates on the artists page, and four steps from consultation to healed tattoo. The styles page covers six styles with a gallery for your own healed work.
- Three artist cards
- Bios with hourly rates
- Six style cards
- Work gallery
Hygiene and policies people look for first
The care page sets out single-use needles and ink caps, autoclave sterilisation, barriers, surface cleaning and sharps disposal, then aftercare steps, an 18+ photo ID policy and the health conditions clients should mention, with a note that aftercare advice is general and not medical advice.
- Six hygiene cards
- Aftercare steps
- 18+ photo ID policy
- Health conditions checklist
What a client finds on each page
The home page leads with the studio's promise, the minimum charge, the free design consultation and the 18+ rule, then four short reasons to book, a styles teaser, the artist cards, studio hours with directions and a closing call to book. The styles page has six style cards (fine-line, blackwork, mandala, realism, colour and cover-ups), a gallery of recent work and planning tips such as why fine lines need some size and why hands and feet fade faster. The artists page adds a bio and hourly rate for each artist and the four steps from idea to healed tattoo. The pricing page is a tabbed price list for studio rates, special work and deposits, followed by what is included and what to do before the appointment. A contact page with a map and a short message form, and a 404 page, complete the site.
- Home, Styles, Artists, Pricing, Aftercare & hygiene, Consultation, Contact and 404
- Tabbed price list you edit as plain text
- Before-your-appointment checklist
- WhatsApp button with a ready-written consultation message
Consultation requests and your admin panel
The consultation form asks for a name, phone number, optional email, a style or a named artist (or no preference), a date, a time slot between noon and 8 pm, and a notes box for the idea, placement, size and any old tattoo to cover. The small print says it is a request only, confirmed by phone or WhatsApp, and that the client confirms they are 18 or over. Each request is emailed to the address you set and also saved in the admin's Enquiries inbox, so a missed email is never a lost client, and the inbox downloads as CSV. A hidden spam trap field catches simple bots. In the admin at /admin/ you set the studio name, logo, phone, WhatsApp number, email, address, map, opening hours, social links and colours, which replace the demo details on every page. You can also show an announcement bar (for example a guest artist week), add Tawk.to, Crisp or Tidio live chat, connect Google Analytics 4, Tag Manager or the Meta Pixel, switch on a cookie notice and put the site in maintenance mode while you replace the sample photos.
- Requests by email and in the Enquiries inbox
- CSV download of every enquiry
- Business details changed once, shown everywhere
- Login with hashed password and lock-out after failed attempts
What is in the zip and how it goes live
You get eight HTML pages, the stylesheet and JavaScript, the PHP form handler, the admin panel, the photos, an .htaccess file, a README and an illustrated installation guide. Upload the zip to public_html in cPanel, extract it, set your email in config.php, open /admin/ to create your login and paste your licence key on the Dashboard to switch the forms on. Hosting needs are modest: any cPanel or shared plan with PHP 7.4 or later. The built-in SQLite database needs no setup. The README walks you through replacing the artist cards, the price list and every line of the care page.
- Runs on ordinary shared hosting
- No WordPress, Node.js or database to install
- Rebranding guide lists every demo detail to replace
- Optional We set it up package
What it does not do
InkHouse is a brochure and booking-request website, not studio software. It has no cart and no online payment, so deposits are taken by UPI or in person as your pages explain. It does not check your diary, block booked slots, send reminders, accept reference image uploads or store client consent forms. The sample prices, artists, hygiene steps and policies are placeholders: change them to what your studio really does and check the rules in your city before you publish them.
- No online deposits or card payments
- No diary sync or automatic confirmations
- References are sent on WhatsApp
- Replace every sample photo with your own healed work
