What patients ask a lab before they book
Patients want to know whether you do their test, what it costs, whether they need to fast, whether you can come home and when the report will be ready. Pulse answers each on its own page, with a clear Book home collection button on every screen.
- Tabbed test list with indicative prices
- Health packages with the tests in each
- Home collection charges and area
- Report times and preparation tips
Home collection requests, confirmed by you
The home collection form asks for tests or a package, a date and a time slot, with notes for the address and the number of people. The request is emailed to you and your team confirms the time and price by phone or WhatsApp.
- Packages and single tests in one list
- Early-morning fasting slots
- Spam trap and input checks
- No reports or test results stored on the website
Honest by default
Prices are marked indicative. The reports page has an accreditation placeholder for your real accreditation body, certificate number and scope, with a note never to show a logo or number you do not hold. A not-medical-advice notice reminds patients to discuss results with their doctor, and there are no testimonials.
- Accreditation placeholder, nothing invented
- Indicative-price notes
- Not-medical-advice notice
- MedicalBusiness and DiagnosticLab schema
Every page, and what a patient does there
The home page offers walk-in times and a Book home collection button, four cards for tests, packages, home collection and reports, a section on clean sample collection, three steps for booking a home visit, collection hours, directions and a reminder about fasting. Tests & prices is a tabbed list (routine blood, diabetes and thyroid, vitamins and minerals, urine and others) where each test shows an indicative price and its sample type, fasting need or report time, plus a box inviting patients to send their doctor's prescription on WhatsApp rather than guess. Health packages shows three main check-ups with the tests in each, a short list of other packages and notes such as one sample for the whole package. The reports page explains report times, collection by email, WhatsApp or from the centre, and fasting and urine preparation. The contact page has the address, map and a message form, and there is a 404 page.
- Test list in four tabs
- Packages with their tests listed
- Report times and preparation tips
- Prescription-on-WhatsApp prompt
Booking details your team needs
The home collection form takes the patient's name, phone and optional email, a package or single test from a grouped list (or 'I have a prescription, please call me'), the collection date, a time slot and a note for the address and how many people need a sample. Beside it, the page lists the home collection charge, the area you cover and the early fasting slots, and tells patients to keep their prescription and ID ready. Your team then calls to confirm the time and price.
- Package or test, date and slot
- Address and number of people in the note
- Charges and area shown next to the form
Your admin panel for the lab
In /admin/ you set the lab's name, logo, phone, WhatsApp, email, address, map and collection hours, which replace the demo details on every page. Each home collection request and contact message is emailed to the address in config.php and also kept in the admin's Enquiries inbox, protected by your admin login, with a CSV download for the collection roster. Because these requests contain patient names and phone numbers, keep the admin password private and delete old enquiries you no longer need. You can also switch on the WhatsApp button for prescription photos, add Google Analytics, and show an announcement bar for a camp day or holiday timings.
- Requests in email and the Enquiries inbox
- CSV download for the day's collections
- WhatsApp button for prescriptions
What you get and what you need
The zip has the home, tests, packages, home collection, reports, contact and 404 pages, the stylesheet and script, the PHP form handler and config.php, the admin panel, sample photos, an .htaccess file, a README and the installation guide. It runs on any cPanel or shared hosting with PHP 7.4 or later; no lab software, WordPress or database setup is needed. Replace every sample price, package and the accreditation placeholder with your own before going live.
- Upload, extract, set your email
- Create the admin login, paste the licence key
- Replace the sample prices
