Sell your harvest direct to homes

Harit Farms gives a small farm its own online shop. Customers order seasonal vegetable boxes, greens, fruit, ghee, honey and millets, check out with their address and pay cash on delivery, by UPI or bank transfer, or collect from the farm. Each order is emailed to you and appears in Admin → Shop → Orders, and the customer gets a confirmation page with the live status.

  • Farm shop with search, category filter and sorting
  • Box sizes and jar sizes as variants
  • Stock counts, so sold-out items cannot be ordered
  • Coupon codes for first orders or festivals

Explain how your boxes and delivery days work

Box customers want to know when to order and what arrives. The home page walks them through it in four steps, the cart asks for their delivery day, and the delivery page sets out cut-offs, areas, crate returns and refunds in plain words that you edit to match your farm. Delivery charges are set per area or postcode in the admin, with free delivery over an amount if you want it.

  • Four-step 'how a box works' section
  • Delivery day and cut-off notes
  • Delivery zones by postcode, plus farm pickup
  • Weekly box sign-up on WhatsApp

Bring people to the farm

The farm-visit page describes family mornings, school groups and what to expect, with a request form for the visit type, date and time. Requests come to your inbox and you confirm by phone. A gallery shows the fields, the animals and the people behind the food.

  • Visit request form with date and time
  • Good-to-know list and weather notice
  • Photo gallery of the farm
  • About page with your growing story

Run the shop from the admin

Products, orders and customers live in a database: SQLite is built in, MySQL is optional. On first run it is filled with the demo products, which you edit or delete in Admin → Shop. Every price, discount, delivery charge, fee, tax and total is recalculated on the server when an order is placed, and an order whose total was changed in the browser is refused.

  • Products with photos, gallery, variants, sale price and stock
  • Coupons: percent or fixed, minimum spend, expiry and usage limits
  • Shipping zones and tax rates by country or region
  • Orders: status, tracking, status emails, invoice and CSV export

Where orders and visit requests land

Each new order arrives by email and in Admin → Shop → Orders, where you move it from pending to processing, shipped and delivered, add a note and print the invoice for the crate. Farm-visit requests and contact messages are emailed to you and also kept in the admin's Enquiries inbox with a CSV download, so school group dates do not get lost in your mail. The customer's delivery day and notes, such as vegetables they do not eat, come through in the order note field. Customers who open an account see their past orders on the account page.

  • Orders in Admin → Shop → Orders
  • Visit requests in the Enquiries inbox
  • Delivery day written in the order note
  • Account page with order history

In the zip, and what hosting it needs

You get the HTML pages (home, shop, product, cart, account, farm visit, about, delivery, contact and 404), the PHP shop engine and admin, the demo products file that fills the database on first run, the form handler, photos, a README and an installation guide. Any cPanel host with PHP 7.4 or later and pdo_sqlite works; MySQL is optional. Set your farm name, phone, WhatsApp number and pickup address in the admin, rewrite the sample delivery page, then place a test cash-on-delivery order.

  • No WordPress, no monthly store fee
  • SQLite created automatically
  • Sample delivery text to rewrite
  • Licence key switches checkout on

What it does not do

Harit Farms does not bill weekly subscriptions automatically or take card payments on its own. Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal and Cashfree are separate add-ons with their own licence, tested against mocked gateway responses, not real payments. It also does not make claims for you. The about page has a placeholder for your organic certificate, to be filled only if you have one, and product copy describes how food is made rather than health benefits.

  • Built in: COD, UPI QR, bank transfer, farm pickup
  • Subscriptions: arranged on WhatsApp
  • Certification: your own details, only if certified
