Answers parents look for
Parents choosing a karate class want to know which group their child joins, when classes run, what it costs and how belts work. Kiai puts each answer on its own page, with a Free trial button on every screen.
- Programmes grouped by age
- Timetable with a row per time slot
- Monthly fees with admission and grading fees
- Belt order and grading days explained
From visitor to trial class
The trial form asks for the programme, a date and a time, plus notes for the student's name and age, previous training and injuries. The request lands in your inbox and you confirm by phone or WhatsApp.
- Free trial class form
- Programmes grouped for children and adults
- Notes for age, experience and health
- Spam trap and input checks
Easy to keep up to date
Programmes are plain cards, the timetable and belt order are simple tables and fees are three cards, so a change takes a minute in any text editor. Belt colours and kata can be changed to match your style and association.
- Timetable and belts as plain HTML tables
- Fees as editable cards
- SportsActivityLocation schema markup
- Colours and fonts in one CSS block
What each page does
The home page explains what students gain, how classes are kept safe, who teaches and how the age groups are split, then previews three programmes and a section of sample parent testimonials marked in the code for you to replace or delete. The programmes page lists every group, from the youngest children to adults, a women's self-defence course and a competition squad, followed by the four parts of a typical class. The timetable page is a weekly grid of class times by day, then three monthly fee cards with notes on admission, grading fees, the self-defence course and sibling discounts. The grading page is a table of belts with the level and what is assessed at each, and explains instructor approval, grading days, results and certificates. The trial page tells newcomers what to wear and what to expect, and the contact page has the dojo address, hours, map and a message form.
- Women's self-defence and competition squad included
- Weekly class grid by day and time
- Belt table with what each grading assesses
- 'What to expect' notes for the trial class
Your admin panel, for a dojo
In /admin/ you set the academy name, logo, phone, WhatsApp, email, address, map and class hours once, and they update across the site. Every trial request is saved in the Enquiries inbox as well as emailed, with the programme, preferred day and time and the notes about age, experience or injuries, so you can plan who to expect at each class and download the list as a CSV. The announcement bar suits a notice about the next grading Sunday, a new women's self-defence batch or a holiday break. The WhatsApp button lets parents ask a quick question, and live chat, Google Analytics, Tag Manager, the Meta Pixel and a cookie notice are switched on from the same panel.
- Trial requests kept in an Enquiries inbox
- CSV download to plan trial classes
- Announcement bar for grading days
- WhatsApp button for parents
What you get, and the limits
The zip has the HTML pages, stylesheet, scripts, the PHP form handler and admin, photos, an .htaccess file, a README and an illustrated installation guide. It runs on any cPanel or shared hosting with PHP 7.4 or later; SQLite is created automatically and MySQL is optional. Paste your licence key in the admin to switch the forms on. The site does not collect monthly fees, keep attendance or record belts for each student, and there are no student or parent logins. Belt colours, kata names and fees in the demo follow one example syllabus: change them to match your style and association.
- PHP 7.4+, SQLite built in
- No fee collection or attendance
- No student logins or belt records
- Belt syllabus edited in plain HTML
