What clients want to know first
People looking for an accountant ask what you handle, roughly what it costs, what documents to bring and how the work happens. Ledger & Co. answers each on its own page, with a Book a consultation button on every screen.
- Home page with your service areas
- Services and starting fees in tabs
- How we work in four steps
- Documents checklist for each service
Book consultations, not just calls
The consultation form asks for a topic, a date and a time, and a short description of what the client needs. It reminds people not to send PAN, Aadhaar or bank numbers through the form. The request arrives in your inbox and you confirm by phone or email.
- Consultation booking form
- Topics grouped by service
- Notes for office, phone or video preference
- Spam trap and input checks
Written with professional rules in mind
The template has no testimonials, client logos or promises about saving tax. Fees are shown as starting fees with a notice that the final fee is agreed in writing, and that the site is general information. If you are a practising CA, the README explains what to check against the ICAI guidelines for websites.
- No testimonials or ratings
- Starting fees with a clear notice
- General-information disclaimer
- AccountingService schema markup
What each page does
The home page sets out the four service areas, how the office keeps clients informed and who you work with: salaried people and investors, shops and traders, and start-ups and companies. The services page lists every service in tabs for GST, income tax, bookkeeping, business registration and payroll, each with a starting fee or 'on review' where the fee depends on the case, such as a GST notice reply. The How we work page explains the four steps from consultation to written quote, documents and filing, and what clients can expect, such as drafts shared before anything is filed. The documents page is a checklist for each service, from GST registration to payroll, with a reminder not to email passwords or original documents. The contact page has your address, phone, hours, map and a message form.
- Services and fees in five tabs
- 'On review' for work quoted after reading the papers
- Four-step process from consultation to filing
- Per-service documents checklist
Your admin panel, for a practice
Open /admin/ to set the firm name, logo, phone, WhatsApp, email, address, map and office hours, and they replace the demo details on every page. Consultation requests and contact messages are saved in the Enquiries inbox as well as emailed, so you or an assistant can see the topic, preferred date and time for each one and download the list as a CSV. The announcement bar suits filing-season notices, for example a reminder that a return due date is near, and maintenance mode hides the site while you edit fees. Live chat, the WhatsApp button, Google Analytics, Tag Manager, the Meta Pixel and a cookie notice are each switched on from the same panel.
- Consultation requests kept in an Enquiries inbox
- CSV download of requests
- Announcement bar for due-date notices
- SMTP email from your own domain
What you get, and what it does not do
The zip has the HTML pages, stylesheet, scripts, the PHP form handler and admin, photos, an .htaccess file, a README with a section on professional rules, and an illustrated installation guide. It runs on any cPanel or shared hosting with PHP 7.4 or later, with SQLite created automatically and MySQL optional; paste your licence key in the admin to switch the forms on. There is no client portal, document upload, e-filing, invoicing or online payment, and the forms are not meant for PAN, Aadhaar or bank numbers. Share documents through whatever secure method your practice already uses.
- README section on ICAI and professional-body rules
- PHP 7.4+, SQLite built in
- No client portal or document upload
- No online fee payment
