How it works

From order to a live website

  1. 1

    Choose a package

Code only, We set it up, or Customised. All prices are one-time.

  2. 2

    Pay securely

Your download link and licence key are emailed once payment is confirmed and also appear in My Account.

  3. 3

    We contact you

For setup packages we email within one business day for your hosting access and domain details.

  4. 4

    Live on your domain

Your store runs on your own hosting with your own database, and you manage it from your admin.

A complete store you own

The storefront has a home page with your banner and category tiles, a shop with nested categories, search, price and stock filters and sorting, product pages with photo galleries and variants, a cart with coupons, and a checkout that works for addresses in any country. Customers can check out as guests or create an account to see their order history. Every price, coupon and stock level is checked again on the server when the order is placed.

  • Variants with their own price, sale price, SKU and stock
  • Low-stock flags and sold-out handling
  • Guest checkout or customer accounts
  • Product schema, Open Graph tags and sitemap.xml

Run it from your own admin

A first-run wizard creates your admin account (password hashed with bcrypt, login rate-limited, CSRF on every form). The dashboard shows orders today, paid revenue and low stock. Orders move through pending, paid, processing, shipped, delivered, cancelled or refunded; each change is logged and emailed to the customer and to you, with tracking number and link. Invoices print or save as PDF and orders export to CSV.

  • Products, categories, customers and coupons
  • Order notes, tracking and status emails
  • Enquiry inbox for the contact form
  • SMTP email settings with a test button

Sell in several currencies, ship by zone

You enter prices in a base currency and switch on other currencies with a rate, symbol, decimals and symbol position. Visitors pick a currency in the header and the order records both the currency and the rate. Delivery zones are lists of countries and, if needed, regions, each with flat rate, free over an amount, weight or order-value tables, or local pickup. Tax rates are set per country or region, with prices including or excluding tax.

  • Visitor currency switcher, remembered
  • Rate and currency stored on every order
  • Most specific zone and tax rate used
  • Built-in payments: COD, bank transfer, UPI QR, pay on pickup

Chat, WhatsApp, analytics and add-ons

Settings switch on Tawk.to, Crisp or Tidio live chat (or your own snippet), a floating WhatsApp button, GA4, Google Tag Manager and Meta Pixel (loaded only after cookie consent if the cookie notice is on), an announcement bar, SEO defaults and maintenance mode. Add-ons are folders you drop into addons/; they appear in the admin with their own settings. Stripe, Razorpay, PayPal and Auto Currency Rates are available separately.

  • Live chat and WhatsApp button
  • GA4, GTM and Meta Pixel IDs
  • Announcement bar and cookie notice
  • Add-on hooks for payments, shipping and marketing

What it does not do

Card payments need one of the gateway add-ons and your own account with that provider; the add-ons were tested against simulated provider responses, so run a test payment in sandbox mode before going live. There is no hosted demo: the screenshots on this page are from the store running locally with its demo catalogue. It needs PHP 8.3 or later.

  • PHP 8.3+ required (Laravel 13)
  • Card gateways sold as add-ons
  • Demo photos and text are placeholders to replace

Who it is for and what is in the zip

This store suits a small business, maker or retailer that wants its own shop on ordinary PHP hosting instead of a monthly platform, and agencies or Laravel developers who want a working store to adapt for a client. The zip holds the whole Laravel 13 application: the app code, Blade views in resources/views, plain CSS and JavaScript in public/, the migrations, a seeder with 24 demo products (skip them with SEED_DEMO_CATALOGUE=false), the addons/ folder, .env.example, README.md and the illustrated Installation-Guide.pdf. The vendor/ folder with the production dependencies is included, so the server needs neither Composer nor Node.js. Product photos you upload are saved in public/uploads, which avoids the storage:link step that shared hosting often blocks.

  • Laravel 13 on PHP 8.3 or later
  • 24 demo products you can leave out at install
  • Emails go to the log until you add SMTP details
  • Optional cron line for Laravel's scheduled tasks

Your admin, screen by screen

After you sign in at /admin, the dashboard shows how many orders came in today, your paid revenue and which products are running low. Under Orders you open an order to change its status, add a note, type a tracking number and link, print the invoice or export orders to CSV; cancelling an order puts its stock back once. Products is the editor for prices, sale prices, stock, variants, gallery photos and SEO fields, and Categories holds the nested category tree. Coupons, Customers and the Enquiries inbox for contact-form messages each have their own screen. Currencies, Payments, Shipping and Taxes decide how you sell and deliver; Settings covers business details, design, pages, chat, analytics and SMTP; Add-ons and Licence are where extra features and your key go.

  • Status emails to the customer and to you
  • Every status change kept in the order history
  • Test button for the SMTP settings
  • Admin login blocked after 5 failed tries

Tests, security and correct totals

The source includes PHPUnit feature tests for the cart and variants, coupon rules, catalogue search and filters, checkout, shipping tables, tax rates, the currency stored on orders, order status changes, the admin login and the licence gate. Run them with php artisan test after composer install, which adds PHPUnit (the download itself ships production dependencies only). At checkout the server prices the basket again from the database, rechecks stock and coupons and recalculates delivery and tax, so an edited page cannot change what the customer pays. The product schema has no rating fields, because the store has no review system.

  • Feature tests ship with the source
  • Gateway add-on tests use faked HTTP only
  • CSRF protection on every form
  • Checkout and contact form stay off until the licence is active on a live domain
