What learners want to know
People looking for a driving school ask which courses you offer, what a package costs, whether you pick them up, when lessons run and how the licence works. Steer answers each on its own page, with a call to book a lesson on every screen.
- Home page with your teaching approach
- Course cards and car packages with fees
- Licence help page
- Lesson timetable and contact page with map
Bookings that include the pickup point
The booking form asks for the course, the date and time slot of the first lesson, and an optional pickup address, plus notes such as whether the learner already has a learner's licence or would prefer a woman instructor. Everything arrives in one email, and is saved in the admin too, so you can plan the instructor's route and confirm by phone.
- Course choice grouped by car, two-wheeler, add-ons and licence help
- Time-slot drop-down
- Optional pickup address field
- Spam trap and input checks
Honest about licences
The licence page describes the usual steps and documents, says that the licence and test are handled by the RTO, and states that nobody can honestly promise a pass. Government fees are kept separate from your own help charge, and the README reminds you to check the rules on the official Parivahan website.
- No pass guarantees anywhere in the template
- Government fees shown as separate
- Placeholder comment for your school licence number
- Sample testimonials marked for replacement
Easy to keep up to date
Courses and packages are simple cards, extras are a price list and the timetable is a plain HTML table, so changing a fee or a slot takes a minute. Colours and fonts are set in one place, and DrivingSchool schema, titles and descriptions are ready for Google.
- Package cards easy to copy
- Timetable as a simple table
- DrivingSchool schema markup
- Colours and fonts in one CSS block
The pages, one by one
The home page introduces dual-control cars, home pickup, women instructors and licence help, then shows three car courses and sample learner comments, marked in the code for you to replace with real reviews. The courses page has six course cards, from beginner and automatic to parking and reversing and highway and night driving, three session packages (Basic, Standard and Confident), and price lists for scooter and motorcycle courses, car extras such as a car for the driving test or pickup beyond 5 km, and licence help. The licence page walks from learner's licence to driving test and lists what the school does and cannot do. The timetable page shows lesson slots in a table, and the booking page explains the first lesson: you call the learner, they keep their licence handy, and the first drive starts in a quiet area.
- Home, courses, licence, timetable, booking and contact pages
- Session packages and extras as price lists
- What-we-cannot-do box on the licence page
- All fees in the demo are samples
Your admin panel and setup
Lesson requests land in the Enquiries inbox at /admin/ with the course, first-lesson date, time slot and pickup address, so you can plan the week's pickups from one list or download it as a CSV for your instructors. In the admin you set the school name, logo, phone, WhatsApp number and the message it opens with, office address, map, hours and social links, plus live chat, Google Analytics, an announcement bar for a new batch and the currency of your fees. The zip includes the pages, assets, PHP form handler, admin and an illustrated guide. Upload it to cPanel, create your login and paste your licence key to switch the forms on; one key works on up to three domains. It needs PHP 7.4 or later, sets up its own SQLite database (MySQL is optional) and sends mail by PHP mail() or SMTP. It does not take fees online, allocate instructors or cars, or block slots that are already taken.
- Lesson requests with pickup address in one inbox
- CSV download for instructor planning
- No online payments or instructor scheduling
- Runs on any cPanel host with PHP
