Show what you make and what it costs
Customers choosing a tailor want to see your work, know roughly what stitching costs and how long it takes. Silai puts services, indicative rates and timelines on their own pages, with a Book appointment button on every screen.
- Home page with services and popular work
- Rates in tabs: blouses, suits, alterations, bridal
- Services page with six cards
- Contact page with map
Explain measurements and fittings
The fittings page walks through the four steps of an order: design and measurements, the order slip, the trial fitting and collection. It also lists typical timelines and measurement tips, which saves you answering the same questions on WhatsApp.
- Four-step order process
- Timelines for blouses, suits and bridal
- Measurement tips
- Busy-season notice
Book appointments, not walk-in queues
The appointment form asks for the service, a date and a time, plus notes on the occasion, fabric and delivery date. The request arrives in your inbox and you confirm by phone or WhatsApp.
- Appointment form grouped by stitching, bridal and other
- Notes for occasion and delivery date
- No payment taken online
- Spam trap and input checks
What a customer finds on each page
The home page opens with blouse stitching, suits and kurtis, alterations and bridal work, then shows your most-stitched pieces (designer blouses, suits, bridal lehengas) and invites customers to bring their own fabric. The services page has six cards: blouses, suits and kurtis, bridal and occasion, alterations, fabric and lining, and saree finishing. The rates page lists indicative prices in tabs, from a simple or padded blouse to an Anarkali suit, palazzo, hem or sleeve change, zip replacement, bridal lehenga and saree fall and pico. The fittings page covers design and measurements, the order slip, the trial fitting and collection, with how long each kind of order takes and tips for a better fit. The appointment page lists what to bring, such as fabric and a blouse that fits well, and the contact page has a message form and map. Every rate and timeline in the demo is a sample; put in your own.
- Home, services, rates, fittings, appointment and contact pages
- Appointment times from 10:30 am to 7 pm
- Bridal consultation, trial fitting and measurement-only options
- A custom 404 page
Your boutique's admin panel
Appointment requests and contact messages are kept in the Enquiries inbox at your-domain.com/admin/ and emailed to you at the same time. Each one shows what the customer wants stitched, the day and time they asked for and their notes on the occasion or delivery date, which helps you plan around the wedding season. Download the list as a CSV whenever you like. The admin is also where you set the boutique name, logo, phone, WhatsApp number and greeting, address and map, opening hours, Instagram and other social links, brand colours and the currency for your rates, and where you can switch on live chat, an announcement bar for festive-season cut-off dates, or Google Analytics. The rates and page text are edited in the HTML files.
- Requests saved and emailed
- CSV download
- Announcement bar for order cut-off dates
- Brand colours from the admin
In the zip, and what it needs
The download has the seven HTML pages, stylesheet, JavaScript, photos, the PHP form handler, the admin panel and an illustrated installation guide. Upload it to any cPanel or shared hosting with PHP 7.4 or later, create your admin login, and paste the licence key from your order email to switch the forms on; the key activates one live domain, and you can try the site on your own computer without one. SQLite is set up by itself on first run (MySQL is optional), and mail goes out through PHP mail() or your own SMTP.
- Plain HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP
- Nothing to install beyond uploading
- No monthly fee
What it leaves to you
The site does not check your diary, so each appointment is confirmed only when you reply. It has no order tracking for garments in progress, no measurement records and no online payment or advance collection. If you want to sell ready-made clothes online, look at a shop template instead.
- No live appointment diary
- No measurement records
- No online payments or advances
