Show your work clearly
Supporters want to know what you do, who it helps and how they can help. Asha gives each programme a photo card on its own page, explains how a programme runs from need to report, and puts Donate and Volunteer buttons on every screen.
- Home page with your mission and programmes
- Programmes page with photo cards
- Simple four-step 'how we work' section
- Contact page with map
Volunteers and donations
The volunteer form asks how someone would like to help, when they could start and when they are usually free. Requests arrive in your inbox so you can call back. The donate page shows your bank account and UPI ID with a note on how to ask for a receipt. Nothing is charged through the website.
- Volunteer sign-up form
- Bank transfer and UPI details
- Receipt request instructions
- Spam trap and input checks
Transparency built in
The about page includes a 'where the money goes' table and spaces for your registration, trustees and yearly report. All figures ship as clearly marked samples for you to replace from your audited accounts. Mention 80G tax benefits only if your organisation is registered for 80G; the README explains where.
- Spending breakdown table
- Registration and trustees sections
- Sample figures marked in the code
- 80G note only for registered organisations
Easy to keep up to date
Programmes are simple cards and the spending table is plain HTML, so updating them takes minutes in any text editor. Colours and fonts are set in one place, and NGO schema, titles and descriptions are ready for Google.
- Programme cards easy to copy
- Spending table as plain HTML
- NGO schema markup
- Colours and fonts in one CSS block
The pages and what each one is for
The home page states your mission, shows your four areas of work, explains how you work close to the community and links to the spending table. Programmes describes each programme with a photo and the four steps every programme follows: listen, plan, run and report. About and transparency tells your story, holds the where-the-money-goes table and has marked spaces for your registration type and number, yearly report and trustees. Donate lists bank transfer and UPI details, the steps to ask for a receipt (send the transaction ID, name, address and PAN), and what a donation can cover, with every amount marked as a sample figure. Get involved has the volunteer form and three steps for joining, plus a note on photo ID and child-safety guidelines. Contact gives your office hours, address, a message form and a map. The programmes, figures and volunteer quotes in the demo are all samples.
- Home, programmes, about, donate, get involved and contact
- Receipt request steps on the donate page
- Sample figures clearly labelled
- Friendly 404 page
Your admin panel, for a small team
At your-domain.com/admin/ you create a login for the person who handles the website. Every volunteer request and contact message is saved in the Enquiries inbox and emailed to you, with the kind of help offered and when the person is free, so the coordinator can work through the list and download it as a CSV for the volunteer register. Set the foundation's name, logo, phone, WhatsApp number and its greeting, office address, map, hours, social links and colours, and they update on every page. If supporters abroad read the site, add a second currency with your own rate. Use the announcement bar for a health camp date or an appeal, and switch on live chat, Google Analytics, a cookie notice or maintenance mode if you need them. Bank details, programmes and the spending table are edited in the HTML files.
- Volunteer requests saved and emailed
- CSV for your volunteer register
- Office hours, WhatsApp and colours
- Announcement bar for appeals and camps
In the zip, and how it goes online
The download holds the HTML pages, stylesheet, scripts and photos, the PHP form handler, config.php, the admin panel, a README and an illustrated installation guide. Upload it to any cPanel or shared hosting with PHP 7.4 or later, create your admin login and paste the licence key to switch the forms on; the key activates one live domain, and you can try the site on your own computer without one. Data is stored in SQLite, created on first run through PHP's pdo_sqlite extension, with MySQL optional. Email is sent with PHP mail() or your own SMTP server.
- Plain HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP
- SQLite built in, MySQL optional
- PHP mail() or SMTP
- No payment gateway fees
What it does not do
There is no online donation checkout, recurring giving, donor login or automatic receipt: donors pay by bank or UPI and you send receipts yourself. The site makes no 12A, 80G or FCRA claims; add them only if you hold the registration. Forms take up to eight messages from one visitor in ten minutes, and a hidden field stops most spam bots.
- No card or online donations
- No donor database or receipts
- Registrations added only by you
