What we can help with
You do not need a label or a diagnosis to come to counselling. These are some of the things people bring.
Anxiety & worry
Racing thoughts, panic feelings, overthinking and worry that gets in the way of everyday life.
Stress & burnout
Work pressure, exams, long hours and feeling that you have nothing left to give.
Low mood
Feeling sad, empty or unmotivated for a while, and finding it hard to enjoy things.
Grief & loss
The death of someone close, a miscarriage, a divorce or another loss you are carrying.
Couples & relationships
Arguments that go in circles, distance, trust after hurt, and decisions about the future.
Family & parenting
Tension at home, caring for parents, joint-family pressures and parenting teenagers.
Self-esteem
Self-doubt, comparing yourself with others, and learning to speak up for yourself.
Life changes
Marriage, moving city, a new job, retirement or becoming a parent.
Students & young adults
Career confusion, college stress, homesickness and confidence, for ages 18 and up.
What we do not offer
Being clear about this helps you find the right care quickly.
- We are not an emergency or crisis service
- Our counsellors do not prescribe medicines; if a psychiatrist may help, we explain why and help with a referral
- We do not provide certificates or reports for court cases
- Sessions for under-18s are not offered at this centre
If you are in crisis, call Tele-MANAS 14416 or 112. Mann Counselling Centre offers planned sessions by appointment and is not an emergency or crisis service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, go to the nearest hospital emergency department.
