A family farm, not a factory
Twelve acres, a dozen desi cows, forty bee boxes and one very old tractor.
Back to the land we grew up on.
Harit Farms is the land our grandparents farmed. When we came back to it, we chose to grow the way they did: compost from our own cows, seeds saved where we can, crops rotated with the seasons, and no synthetic pesticides or chemical fertilisers.
It is slower, and some seasons are hard. But it means we can tell you exactly how every vegetable in your box was grown.
Soil first
Cow-dung compost, green manure and mulching. We test the soil every year.
Desi cows
Gir and Sahiwal cows graze the field edges. Their milk becomes our ghee; their dung, our compost.
Bees on the farm
Bee boxes among the mustard and fruit trees help pollinate the crops — and give us honey.
Certification
[Add your certification here if your farm has one — for example the certificate type (such as NPOP or PGS-India), the certifying body and your certificate number — and link to a copy of the certificate.]
This demo does not claim any organic certification. Only describe your produce as "certified organic" if you hold a valid certificate, and keep the certificate details on this page.
