Our story
A family home, opened to guests
Four generations have lived around this courtyard. Now you can stay in it too.
The haveli
Restored slowly, with care.
Our great-grandfather built the house around a central courtyard, the way Your City homes were built for the summer heat. When the family grew and moved out, the rooms stood empty for years.
We restored them one at a time with local craftsmen: lime plaster, the old wooden doors, the jharokhas over the lane. Today there are nine guest rooms, a rooftop sit-out and a kitchen that still cooks the family's breakfast recipes.
- Run by the family that owns the house
- Local staff from the neighbourhood
- Small enough that we know every guest by name
